Art I & Art Appreciation Classes
TWHS Visual Arts Department offers several different Ceramics & Sculpture Classes. These classes include Ceramics & Sculpture II, III & IV. Students enrolled in these classes will have the opportunity to use various 3D art mediums to continue to improve their technical skills, creative processes and artistic endeavors. Art I
Course Description:
This is a one-year foundation course. Application of the fundamentals of design will be used to develop basic skills and techniques as well as an understanding and appreciation of historical and contemporary art and artists. This course is taught from a survey of Art perspective with studio activities in drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. This course is an appropriate type of Fine Arts Credit.

Art Appreciation
Course Description:
This is a one-year art course. Application of the fundamentals of design will be used to develop basic skills and techniques as well as an understanding and appreciation of historical and contemporary art and artists. This course is taught from a survey of Art perspective with studio activities in drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. This course is an appropriate type of Fine Arts Credit. Also, this course provides an appropriate Fine Arts elective option for students who move in and/or are trying to earn Fine Arts Credit late in high school.
